About A Spirit Unbroken

A Spirit Unbroken was born from a deeply personal journey. As a survivor of child sexual abuse, I know the lasting impact trauma can have on every part of life. I also know the weight of depression and the courage it takes to keep moving forward. Along my own healing journey, journaling became a place where I could process emotions, rediscover my voice, and begin to reclaim the parts of myself that trauma had tried to silence. As a social worker, I have also witnessed the resilience of people navigating difficult experiences, which has further shaped my commitment to creating meaningful tools for healing.

Over the past several months, I poured my heart into creating the Be Unafraid journal with intention, compassion, and hope. It is the result of pain meeting purpose and a deep desire to remind other survivors that what happened to them as a child was never their fault. While every healing journey is unique, healing is possible, hope is real, and you do not have to walk this path alone. My hope is that these pages become a gentle companion—one that encourages reflection, honors your strength, and reminds you that your story does not end with what happened to you.
